A New Ireland: Politics, Peace, and Reconciliation
Published in Hardcover by National Book Network (March, 1996)
Authors: John Hume, Edward Moore Kennedy, Thomas McEnery, Richard Shepard Healy, Rebecca Grunch, Carrie Meback Mack, Jack Van Zandt, and Tom McEnery
Average review score:

A framework for true reconciliation in Northern Ireland
John Hume is a virtually unknown figure in the United States, but he has been steadily gaining recognition due to his work in the Northern Irish peace agreement. This recognition is overdue and much deserved. This monumental book outlines Hume's political philosophy - a philosophy which seeks to brush aside the vengefulness and intransigence of Northern Ireland's past, searching instead for reconciliation through justice for all. Hume is heavily influenced by Matin Luther King, Jr. and John F. Kennedy, and quotes from these two figures flavor Hume's text. Hume's themes may seem repetitive, and his ideas seem to be based on the shakey foundation of human progress, but this work demonstrates that he is a champion for for a true peace in Northern Ireland - a peace that is just for all.

Night Before Christmas Pop-up
This book was purchased for my 3 year old son. It has since grown as a traditional reading for the anual childrens party and displayed in the livingroom for all who visit. This book captures the childrens imagiations, with it's detailed 3-D illustrations, and wonderfully written poetry. This combination holds everyones attention; Both young and old come together for it's reading. The only draw back is that it ends too soon and you may find yourself reading it over and over again to a captive audiance.

Gorgeous...that is the best word to describe this book.

The Norman's Heart (Harlequin Historical, No 311)
Published in Paperback by Harlequin (April, 1996)
Author: Margaret Moore
Average review score:

I loved this book!
The characters were well developed and cunning enough to pull this storyline off. The heroine, Mina, was strong enough to stand up for herself yet feminine enough to have the appeal and appreciation of the other characters. Ms. Moore is a fantastic storyteller.

So In Tune!
Sara not only captures the minds and hearts of children through her publications, she is also a dynamite presenter in schools! I have seen her work with K-12 students and she does a remarkable job of tailoring her work to meet the needs of grade levels and special interests of students and teachers. Bravo, Sara Holbrook!

Numbers will tell
Published in Unknown Binding by Grosset & Dunlap ()
Author: Gerun Moore
Average review score:

Excellent Book!!
Though it is now out of print, it is very worth your while to get it. It starts by explaining an ancient numeric alphabet (which really works!), then goes on to explain compatability numbers, birth numbers, name numbers and what all those numbers mean! Later it will explain how to make predictions using this information and how to make your name, home address or anything you're doing with a special name more compatible with you and what you want it for! It's an excellent read and perfect for a beginner at numerology!
